First-generation Bosch Smart Home product family

The product family included a controller, thermostat, smart plug and door sensor. With short time-to-market and strong cost constraints, the design language needed to feel simple, calm and trustworthy while fitting into a wide range of interiors.

A consistent visual system connected products with very different proportions. The interaction front, light element and refined rear housings created a recognisable family language that could later extend to additional devices.
